Brandon Dowdy

Brandon Dowdy is passionate about the YMCA’s mission of helping persons grow in spirit, mind and body. Since 1992, he has worked for several YMCA Associations, beginning his Y career in as a camp counselor and Program Director in St. Louis, Missouri, then working for the West Dade YMCA in Miami as Director of School Age Child Care and Camp Director. He has worked for the YMCA of the Palms’ Association for nearly 10 years. Brandon took the helm of the YMCA of the Palms in January of 2009 and has developed a vision for the Y that is already making a positive impact in the community. Brandon attended Missouri Valley College where he received a Bachelors Degree in Human Service Agency Management and later received his Masters in Human Service Agency Management from Springfield College in Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the 2008-2009 Leadership Collier Class. Brandon lives in Naples with his wife Rhonda and four children: Chase, Sam, Kady, and Krista.
